Loan Renewals

As long as the item is not being held for another patron, we can renew your loan over the phone or by e-mail. You can also renew items yourself on the library website (www.lincoln.library.on.ca). You need to tell us your library card number. Call us at 905-563-7014 (Beamsville) or 905-562-5711 (Vineland).

Holds

If the Lincoln Public Library owns a book, video or CD that you would like to borrow, we can put it on reserve especially for you. If another person is presently using the item, we will call you when it's your turn. Telephone or visit either library, or email us with your requests. You can also request items yourself on the library website (www.lincoln.library.on.ca). We welcome your suggestions for the purchase of library materials that will benefit our community. There is an on-line suggestion form, under the menu item Services, on the library website. (www.lincoln.library.on.ca)

After Hours Dropbox

When the library is not open to the public, there is an after-hours drop box at both the Fleming Branch in Beamsville and the Moses F. Rittenhouse Branch in Vineland.

LiNC

LiNC stands for the Libraries in Niagara Cooperative, a partnership of six Niagara library systems – Lincoln Public Library (LPL), Fort Erie Public Library, Niagara College Library, Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library, Pelham Public Library and Thorold Public Library. If you have a Lincoln Public Library (LPL) card, you are automatically a LiNC cardholder. You can visit any LiNC library and borrow in person, or you can place holds and have items sent to the LPL branch nearest you. Items can be returned to LPL.

To see if the item you want is at a LiNC library, go to our home page and click on Explore/Search the Catalogue. The box to the left of the green "Search" button has a drop-down menu. When you select the top option, Libraries in Niagara Cooperative, you are searching everything at all six library systems. Click here for the FAQ.
