April 23 Earth Day Celebration

Drop by the Rittenhouse Branch in Vineland (4080 John Charles Boulevard) between 11 am – 2 pm on April 23 for free Earth Day activities and giveaways, rain or shine!

Activities include:

🦋 pick up seeds from the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority and the library’s seed library

🌸 make wildflower seed bombs and learn about planting with Erin from the Niagara Community Garden Network

🌿 receive a free potted herb (while supplies last) from Freeman Herbs

🥕 see the new greenhouse and plant some seeds with Amanda from United Way Niagara

🗑 get a community cleanup kit (also available to order online) and play games with Play Lincoln

🌧🌳 enter a draw to win a free rain barrel and native tree (also available to order online for Lincoln residents) and learn about local efforts to combat climate change with Shannon from the Town of Lincoln

👣 take a StoryWalk and read Picture a Tree by Barbara Reid

♻️ Get information about waste management from Niagara Region
