A reading challenge encourages you to read (or listen) outside your comfort zone. Try a new author, a new genre or a new format.
Who can participate?
Anyone over the age of 16. To be eligible to win the prize draw, you must have a Lincoln Public Library card. Need a card? Sign up here.
What counts?
Print books, eBooks, audiobooks, YA, graphic novels, short story collections, you name it! Magazines and children’s books do not count.
Do the books have to be library books?
Not at all. Check out library books, download eBooks, borrow from friends, shop at a local bookstore or visit your bookshelf at home.
Help! I don’t know what to read!
We’re here to help! Each month the library will share recommended reads for each theme. Remember to be creative when choosing your books.
How do I complete the challenge?
Read and log one book from each category (12 total). You do not have to go in order but are encouraged to. Track your books on this form or use ReadSquared.
Submit your list in person or by email by 11:59 pm on Sunday January 2, 2022 to be entered in the prize draw.
